BRAC Hope Festival 2023 is going on at the Army Stadium of the capital on the 50th anniversary of its establishment to awaken hope and inspiration among the young generation. The three-day program has been arranged under the three themes of 'Bangladesh in Heart', 'Power of Possibilities' and 'The World We Want to Build'.

Twilight is passing in this event, which is inspired from the heart of Bangladesh. Saturday was the presentation of 'The Power of Possibilities'. And the last day's program was 'Building the desired world'.

In this festival which started with 'tribute to Bangladesh' on Thursday, 'Robo Soccer' and the space robot "Dishari" caught everyone's attention; "Mangal Tari"; Student inventions in university labs like “Duburi” and “Annesha”.

While Mangal Tari was roaming in the grass of the field, the drummers were rejoicing in the joyous festival. Children played with robots on Friday, the weekly holiday. The main event started with the welcome speech of Tamara Hasan Abed, Managing Director of BRAC Enterprises. Ahsan Habib and his team performed sign language as a means of communication for the speech-impaired.

The wonder of robot technology seems to attract the next-generation more than the stories of BRAC's ultra-poor graduates and microfinance-driven women becoming successful entrepreneurs. Even the child who just learned to walk was found shaking hands with the robot.

BRAC Executive Director Asif Saleh said, 'We believe that no social change is possible without partnership. We have to come up with new and innovative solutions to overcome obstacles. The aim of Hope Festival is to awaken hope and inspiration among the young generation.
